​ ~ Endowed Scholarship Recipient
 ​​We are so excited that you've found us and our website! The Ellsworth College Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation was established in 1958 to raise funds for the rebuilding of Old Main, which burned down due to a fire in 1949. Today the Foundation raises funds for scholarships, equipment purchases, and campus improvements. The foundation maintains over 145 endowed scholarships which are awarded annually and provide over $300,000 in assistance to ECC and its students. In addition to our endowed scholarships, the Ellsworth College Trustees provide over $200,000 in scholarship support which makes Ellsworth one of the lowest community colleges of student debt when graduating. We hope that with our exceptional scholarship program the Ellsworth College Foundation will play a positive role in choosing Ellsworth Community College. We want to show our students, alumni and donors that we have a positive impact on our student's educational journey at Ellsworth Community College. In addition to our endowed scholarships, we are also the fiscal-agent to the Friends of Calkins Nature Center, Friends of the Pat Clark Art Collection, and E-Club. If you would like to learn more about our entities go the the Entities Tab at the top of the page.
