 The Campbell family of companies has been a generous and faithful supporter of Ellsworth Community College and the many programs and activities available at the college.   
     The family of companies began when John and Jim Campbell established Campbell’s Supply Company in 1963 in Iowa Falls, Iowa. The company focused on honesty and service in its business dealings. The Campbell Supply Company specializes in the distribution of products for use in industrial, commercial and agricultural operations. Offering the customer over 33,000 items, at competitive prices with exceptional customer service, the company has grown to include four locations including the home store in Iowa Falls. More than 90 people are employed by the Campbell Supply Co. at its four locations and showrooms.  
     The company grew in 1971 with the development of Cam Spray, a business specializing in pressure washers and sewer jetting equipment. Cam Spray equipment can be found at the White House, on the NASCAR circuit, at Jesse James’ Monster Garage, the battlefields of Iraq, Afghanistan and many applications in almost every industry worldwide. Cam Spray focuses on manufacturing equipment to solve each customer’s unique cleaning problems. Cam Spray products are manufactured in a 24,000 square foot facility in Iowa Falls with 20 individuals helping to deliver innovative and cost effective equipment to the industry.  Cam Spray is sold by over 2,500 distributors in over 10,000 locations worldwide. 
     In 1981 the Campbell family of companies grew again with the investment in Iowa Power Products, an engine and power equipment distributor. Iowa Power Products supports and services the state of Iowa for the Honda air-cooled gasoline engine and the Hatz Diesel Engine line of products. The products from Honda and Hatz Diesel are well known for their high quality and durability in the toughest of applications.  These engines are used to power new equipment made by Iowa-based original equipment manufacturers and also sold and serviced by a network of over 320 servicing dealers throughout Iowa. Five sales and service representatives make up the sales and support team for Iowa Power Products. 
     All three companies embody the principles and practices behind the Campbell Supply Company mission.  The company is committed to develop through effective leadership, a conservative, financially strong and independent company designed to adequately provide for the well-being of its employees, who work together to better satisfy customer needs in an efficient and cost-effective way.  This mission was put into practical application when an endowment was funded through the Ellsworth College Foundation and the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation with the intent to help provide scholarship support to employees and employee family members who choose to attend Ellsworth Community College.  ​
